STUDIO POLICIES

Cancellation & Late Policy:

  • We have a generous 12 hour cancellation policy, compared to similar studios and businesses whose policy is 24 hours. We understand that things happen and illnesses may come on suddenly. However, with limited capacity, each enrollment fills a place that could otherwise be filled.

    • Cancellations made less than 12 hours will result in forfeiture of the session/class (deducted from package or charged at full rate).

    • If you do need to cancel less than 12 hours, contact the studio or your instructor. You can text/call (760) 505-0418 or email hello@lunasolpilates.com.

  • Arriving 10 minutes late or more without communication is considered a late cancellation and will result in forfeiture of session/class fees.

Liability Waiver:

  • All clients must sign a liability waiver before using any equipment or participating in exercise.

Studio Etiquette & Cleanliness:

Clothing & Shoes

  • Wear comfortable clothing that you can easily move in.

  • Avoid wearing clothing with zippers or metal that may damage equipment.

  • Grip socks are recommended, but not required. Other acceptable foot wear are regular socks or clean bare feet.

  • Shoes should be left in the front cubbies to maintain studio cleanliness.

    • Exception: Clients with medical or extenuating circumstances requiring shoes.

Beverages

  • Water bottles may be kept near equipment.

  • All other beverages must remain at the front of the studio, away from equipment.

Scent Policy

  • Please avoid wearing strong perfumes or fragrances at the studio, out of respect for those with sensitivities.

Cleaning Procedures:

  • In classes and duets, clients are expected to clean their own equipment:

    • Use a damp washcloth with soap and water to wipe down used equipment.

    • Avoid leaving wood surfaces wet to protect the varnish.

    • Clorox/Lysol wipes may be used on non-upholstered props and mats.

Equipment Use & Safety:

  • We expect controlled, gentle use of equipment:

    • Do not repeatedly slam the reformer carriage.

    • Dismount chairs with control (do not let pedals snap back).

  • Occasional accidents happen; however, repeated misuse of our equipment may result in the client being asked not to return.
