WHAT CLIENTS ARE SAYING

Friends told me about Pilates at Luna Sol. They seemed to enjoy it, so I decided to try despite my skepticism. I’d trained in a lot - a couple years of Pure Barre, some time in silks, lots of yoga, and 10 years of crossfit and Krav Maga, so I didn’t expect more than to hang with friends. Carrie surprised me. She made a point of keeping the classes challenging without giving in to my tendency for aggressively intense workouts. She found gaps in my abilities that previous training didn’t address. Carrie asked for feedback and incorporated suggestions into the classes. I didn’t stop aggressive activities elsewhere and Carrie was conscientious about injuries; she found ways to adjust exercises to keep me going regardless of sprains and muscle pulls. I’d definitely recommend Carrie and Luna Sol Pilates.

I never knew what Pilates exercise was until a friend told me about it. I have had both a shoulder replacement as well as two knee surgeries throughout the years. Sarah and her knowledge and expertise has changed my life.

As a woman in her 70s started to lose interest and motivation to maintain a regular exercise program: I was starting to have problems with arthritis in my hands and feet, loss of flexibility in my neck and spine and was having some problems with balance. I had been doing yoga, some weight training, a little cardio but nothing held my passion. After some research I decided to try Pilates sessions with the equipment. My first few sessions with Pilates working against the resistance of the springs was an amazing experience. I have been working with her for almost 2 years now and I feel stronger, more flexible and more balanced. I can honestly say that I will be continuing sessions with Sarah for a long time. I can hardly wait until the next session to see what we are going to do next.

I have worked with Carrie for 5 years with great results. She is able to adjust to my needs and physical limitations easily to allow me to progress. She makes each session fun, always has tons of energy and keeps everyone engaged and safe! Carrie is an amazing teacher! So glad I found her and Pilates!

Degenerative arthritis was taking its toll. I was unable to walk a block without severe back pain. To prevent it from getting worse I had to find a way to keep moving (words of the neurosurgeon). The recommendation was to try Pilates while waiting for a scheduled nerve block. On the recommendation of a friend I began sessions twice a week with Sarah.
Following the third session, I steadily began to experience less pain and was able to gradually increase my activity.
My current situation shows the transformation: I now walk pain-free one hour each day and continue to take Pilates twice a week. Needless to say, the nerve block was cancelled.
I can’t put a price on this!
